Training to performance is a key component to a dancer's education at Marin Ballet. We believe the preparation process, and the variety of elements that contribute to theater craft, are of equal importance to the performance itself. Studio work instills a respect for, and a sense of integrity to, the theater experience. Immersion in rehearsal environments, working with choreographers, and creating with fellow dancers is an exciting part of the training. Students from ages 4 - 18 have an opportunity to perform each school year. Performances range from spring repertoire in our own Phyllis Thelen Theater, inReach/outReach projects in the community, and our beloved production of Nutcracker at Marin Center.
