| Marin Ballet's Nutcracker production features a whole new Act II adventure! Discover what happens after the famous battle with the Mouse King and icy snowstorm in Act I, as the mystical Drosslemayer leads Clara and her Nutcracker prince through a Christmas Eve full of breathtaking beauty, fairy-tale antics and unforgettable characters. Portrayed by Guest Artist Peter Brandenhoff, the world-traveling Drosslemayer transports us into a sweet tooth's dream full of extraordinary and exciting surprises. Internationally remowned choreographer, Julia Adam, has worked with Artistic Director Cynthia Lucas and the 185-member Marin Ballet cast for the past three years to create this classical, yet fresh vision of the traditional Nutcracker ballet. |
