Ballet Outreach
Marin Ballet plays a role in the Marin
community that reaches far beyond our walls.
Our public performances as well as our community outreach and educational programs enrich quality of
life in many tangible ways.
We provide:
- Full-length, professional-quality
performances for Marin residents, right in their own backyard.
- Exposure to the art of dance
to individuals and families who are traditionally underserved
in regard to easy access to the arts.
- Field-Trip opportunities
to Marin ballet to see presentations, classes, rehearsals, lecture/demonstrations, and/or performances of story ballets for children in Marin
County schools in grades Pre- K through Middle School.
In the era of declining arts programs
in public schools, and decreasing funding for arts in the
private sector, Marin Ballet provides a vital link to the
arts for thousands of our neighbors every year. These activities
are at the heart of Marin Ballet's mission and we are committed
to continuing to increase awareness, knowledge and participation
in the art of dance within our community.
