Refunds: Tuition is non-refundable once classes have begun. If you withdraw before the first class, you will receive a full refund of tuition. No refunds or credit will be applied due to absences. Exceptions due to special medical circumstances may be considered. The registration fee, however, is non-refundable.
Sibling Discount: Families with more than one child enrolled pay full tuition for the child at the higher tuition and 90% of tuition for siblings at lesser tuitions.
Withdrawals: Enrollment in all Marin Ballet classes is considered a reservation for space in the class for a full school year program (Sept-June), which consists of four quarters. Students are presumed to be enrolled through the end of the academic year, and parents/guardians are responsible for the full yearly tuition. Marin Ballet automatically bills families for each quarter, unless the family notifies us of the withdrawal in writing. Marin Ballet maintains a waiting list for many classes. If we are not notified of your child's withdrawal, you will be responsible for tuition payment whether your child attended classes or not.
Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available based on financial need and are awarded on a first come first served basis to those who qualify. Applicants must be residents of Bay Area communities and must reapply each school year. Registration deadlines and class size limits apply to all applicants. Scholarship awards are for tuition only and do not apply to the registration and performance fees. Please submit your applications as far in advance of the start of classes as possible with a final deadline of August 17, 2012 for the 2012-13 school year. Applications may be obtained from the front office.
